Basic Pistol Safety and Shooting (LTC CLASS)
Course Details
This is a Massachusetts State Police approved course (LTC-026). It is also accepted by many states that require firearms safety training as a prerequisite to obtaining a license to carry a concealed firearm including. This course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and mindset necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. In this course, the student will learn about various types of handguns, their nomenclature and operation, ammunition, gun safety, state and federal firearms law and pistol shooting fundamentals. Completion of the course includes live fire at the range. The course duration is 8-9 hours. Firearms, ammunition and lunch are provided.
