Reflexive Shooting

Course Details
We believe that law-abiding citizens who carry for self-defense should learn and master shooting skills that are target focused rather than front sight focused. This course builds on our natural pointing instincts to acquire and saturate the target with rapid fire until the treat is eliminated. Speed rock drills with transition to point shots with movement away from the target are included. Students engage multiple threats, shoot from unusual positions and increase distances until shots without sights are possible out to 7 yards. This is a two day course with fundamentals taught on the first day and more challenging drills on the second.

Course Duration: 14 hours (2 days)
Prerequisite(s):  Experienced defensive shooter
Equipment Needed: Appropriate ear and eye protection; a sturdy belt, strong side holster and magazine pouch required; ammunition and semi-automatic pistol or revolver with 2 spare magazines or speed loaders in one of the following calibers: .380 auto, .38 special, 9mm, .357 magnum, .40 S&W or .45 auto. 
​Round count: 1500.
Other recommended gear: Sturdy shoes for walking and pivoting, billed cap, bug spray, sun screen and hydration.
