Course Details
Geared to the experienced defensive pistol shooter, this S2 Alpha exclusive course builds on the skills and techniques taught in the NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Course. Tactical skills are honed under pressure through emphasis on awareness and mindset, timed drills, engaging multiple targets and close quarters shooting. Point shooting techniques prepare the student to respond to threats at close range. Shooting from cover, low light shooting and room clearing techniques are also taught. Class room work includes a review of safety rules and the ethical, legal and emotional aspects of the use of deadly force in self-defense.
