Course Details
We offer the MLEFIAA LEOSA Retiree Qualification Course #LE0-002. This course is approved by the Massachusetts State Police and conforms to the Federal LEOSA statute and M.G. L. 515 CMR 6.00. The course includes a classroom segment in which the applicant reviews knowledge, nomenclature and operation of both semi-auto pistols and revolvers, ammunition, safe gun handling procedures, carry methods, safe storage, caring for the firearm and a review of the relevant state and federal firearms laws. The range qualification segment is based on the MPTC Qualification Course of Fire with Movement. Retired officers who feel that they may be a bit "rusty" should contact us to schedule a "brush-up" session in advance of taking the actual qualification test. Note: passes as well as failures must be reported to the MA State Police.
