Course Details
This S2 Alpha exclusive course bridges the gap between the fundamentals of pistol shooting and more advanced topics. In this course, the student is introduced to a variety of handguns and calibers that are considered appropriate for personal protection. An individual contemplating a purchase of a pistol for home defense or carry will find this course especially useful. Course topics include physiology of pistol shooting, self-diagnostic techniques, advantages and disadvantages of various types of handguns and holsters. Two thirds of the curriculum is devoted to the reinforcement of good shooting habits and safety procedures. The course duration is 6-7 hours. Students must have completed a Basic Pistol Shooting Course or approved equivalent. Use of our firearms and ammunition is included.
